My view on just choosing the one reader

In the end it becomes imagination (what they would like to happen for you)
It stops becoming a professional reading and more of a reassurance prep talk.
They start having a lot of misses but because you trust/connect/need them you let it go
Time goes away quicker than predictions come in
it turns into a cosy friendship and in the end neither of you are trying (first 10 mins spent exchanging pleasantries)
They know your situation too well that they get lazy around other things

You will probably disagree but a reading a year with someone who knows nothing of you is best

Mysterious Ways

Just a short little note to let you know how things are with me. I heard the sad news yesterday that, the guy I like (the one I've had all the readings on) is closing up shop- literally. He has been struggling in business with 12 months or more now. I have no words for how I feel because its nothing to do with me, he will be moving away shortly.

I think the only way I can view this is:

God sends people into our lives so we learn lessons (and I have learned loads about myself from him) so I believe that there is no more I can learn from this. I feel upset of course but the only way to see it is as a blessing in disguise. None of the psychics predicted this but a few did say that work was a major concern for him.

I am left here thinking- should I say something before he leaves or risk regretting not saying anything for a long time to come.. what ever has gone on in my mind, I truly believe that I loved him. The Lord moves in mysterious ways- so maybe this is his way of saying "enough"

For me its music

I feel at ease with it and when I am in a low mood I could produce a really nasty bass heavy track and then feel lots better for letting out all the stresses of the world that sometimes rest on my shoulders. I can also make a track when in a good mood and that spawns other ideas which go on and on. I have had many readings about my music asking whether I will do much with it, some readings have been wishy washy many have said I will do well to a certain extent but not be taking over the world, so far they are right I make a little bit of money out of it here and there. One psychic reckoned I'd be the next Fatboy Slim (they were wrong) Im still an under the radar producer.

I find that music is a big part of my life and always has been, Ive always wanted to produce and become a DJ which I currently am doing in my spare time. I cannot go a few hours without listening to some form of music and if I'm deprived of that I reach for my iPod at my earliest convenience.

The ideas I get flow nicely and in the 10 years I have been making music Ive got to a certain level where I feel I am good enough to release music which I have been for the last 4 years. I think that music is a part of everyone in some way or form and can impact on many aspects of life.

So what is your big passion? and have your psychic readings come true?

£50 a month for over the phone healing

Hi everyone.

I've started this thread because I'd like to know your thoughts or experiances about over the phone healing.

Now I've heard of cord cutting, I'm going to put an example up of one psychics offering this service.

"If you have become aware that you are in a codependent relationship, cord cutting is indispensable to your healing and emotional freedom.

The session is done at a distance by invoking the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Jeremiel for protection, severing of cords, healing and transmutation of negative energy".
The above cost £30, and takes 15 minutes.

Now to me that sounds reasonable. If indeed it works!

Others have mentioned they have been offered monthly healing at £50 per month for a total of six months.
I understand reiki, face to face meditation etc.

BUT over the phone doesn't sound convincing at that price at all.

Can others let me know their views on this. Or is this one step too far and truly brainwashing the vulnerable.

Le Normand Fortune Telling Cards!

I've not long ago purchased a deck of Le Normand Fortune Telling Cards. They seem quite easy to read as the meanings are printed on them but they are quite old fashioned in their meanings and negative.

I know there's quite a few on here that read cards. The principle of using them is quite different from tarot. Has anybody read with these for themselves? If so, how accurate are they? It's just that they're cheap to buy, yet I've never heard of any psychic or non-psychic ever using these for divination.

Any feedback on these cards would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone. It's been a long while since I've posted on here, I've been busy moving, but have probably missed loads. I've tried to catch up viewing the posts and threads which are interesting to say the least.

I'm not a person who has phone readings as I would prefer a one-to-one in person using crystal ball, palmistry or jewellery for divination purposes. But I really fancy a treat (I probably have about 2 a year, lol) and have noticed a lot of positive feedback for Jodie on Psychic Sofa. I've looked on her profile and she has many glowing testimonials.

Must say, I'm tempted to break a rule and have a phone reading. I dislike readings by tarot as I feel anybody can go out and buy a box and learn them. For anybody who's had a reading with Jodie can you tell me if she used tarot, and has anything presented itself that she may have forecast to any of you?

This is what's so good about this forum, because most readers have been tried and tested by many of you. X

Facebook and the book

It is getting closer to wedding time for my ex so I put my FB account to one side as I did not want to hear all the fine details. (I am still friends with many family members of my ex and mutual friends) I don't have a major problem with the wedding, in fact I wish them all the best, just don't want to spectate the whole thing on FB. Anyway that is not what this is about, I just opened a new fb page for my book Comical Gangster as I am trying to get it wider recognition. To do this I have to add random peope i dont know (as all my friends on my original FB page know about the book) anyway I expect it is pretty weird getting a friend request from people you do not know, yet so far everyone but 2 people (who messaged me asking who I was) simply added me. is this normal? Hopefully they will now all buy the book. Sorry this is not psychic related.

Oooooo I am sat here now, kicking my arse... Last week when all this s*it hit the fan, I booked & paid for a reading with Liz King... this will be my first reading in about 6 weeks & I KNOW ITS A BAD IDEA! The last thing I need to be told right now is that he will contact me soon, that the rumours I heard are not true blah blah.... of course part of me wants the fairytale but no good when its not true, so I guess I just need to filter this one out Confused

psychics are really great communicators. they are really good at telling you the story. Thing is if you go to a psychic andsay my ex left me and i just want to know if said ex will be back and they say yes, then if ex does not come back (as happens in most cases ) then psychic is wrong and you wasted your cash.

if you ask will I get my job and they say yes and then job goes elsewhere then they are wrong.

most people (but not all) go to a psychic with one question (i so often hear it on here referred to as the biggie) and most get answers that are not in touch with reality. after that does it really matter if they predict you will go on a late holiday in august, who really needs to know that. you ask a question they get it wrong. either dont ask questions or dont ask questions in which it is really clear to the psychic what you would like to hear.

Do any of you believe in signs?
You may or may not know my story but I have been on a roundabout of readings for a few years now about a friendship that is developing. Stopped readings but oh I think I am getting paranoid.
Over the last few months the signs that I have been getting are really bizarre and I am not sure if any of you believe in signs being sent to us for a reason.
Things like a few books I have read – just fiction picked up from the library but set in towns that are relevant to this person, names that are in the books also relevant and they are not your run of the mill names.
Company signs that are relevant to conversations happening and again not your run of the mill names.
Emails coming through out of the blue – again with a name or place that is relevant to this friendship and could only be relevant to us.
A phone call asking for this person by name (wrong number) but again not a run of the mill name.
Dates being thrown at me or things coming into conversation that are relevant
Has anyone else had things like this happen? They seem to be coming through thick and fast at the moment.
The one that really freaked me out is picking up a book to read that was set in two places, towns, countries apart. One where he lives, one where I live neither are large well known towns but they were there, in black and white in this book. I didn’t even read the book description before I picked it up. Just liked the cover.

Delayed Predictions

I just want to tell you all about my new prospective regarding readings and wondered if anyone actually had anything similar happen.
I went on a huge psychic reading binge over 12 months ago. Desperate for information and to see if something I wanted to happen was going to. I would ring about every new situation, desperate to see if it would go my way. More often than not, when asked a specific question about the situation the psychics got it wrong. But every psychic held firm on the bigger picture. Apart from one or two that I rang everyone said pretty much the same thing. Timings were for that year and everything would be rosy.
Needless to say, everything was not rosy and things did not turn out the way they said in my immediate future.
However, now things are almost playing out exactly as they all told me. One particular reading stands out. I won’t mention the name of the person but I was enquiring about this man being away on holiday. I was told about a particular scenario which didn’t happen. Low and behold he is now away again and that particular scenario has happened almost word for word. 5 months down the track.
I keep all my readings, write down everything they say. Dates, markers whatever. I put them all away and occasionally get them out an re read them.
Well, let me tell you. Over the last few months they all seem to be happening. Let’s just see if this continues to happen.
I have one particular reader who I speak to often. Basically because he gets right into the situation and gives me so many predictions in one reading that you cant keep up. Sometimes it feels like he is just pulling stuff out of thin air. But this guy is spot on, I mean spot on. Quirky funny things that are said between me and this guy and conversations that happen. He can even tell me how he or I are going to behave about something or what reaction is going to happen to something.
I won’t bring him into the forum and drop his name. I don’t think that is fair of this guy as he would hate to be openly analysed but if anyone does want his name please feel free to contact me about him.
He is the one true psychic in all that I have tried that I would trust on every subject.

A way back i was having readings with everyone, God I was so bad i would have had a reading with the librarian if she had put a veil on and showed me a crystal ball. apart from one reading with psychic shelly it is now 8 months since a paid reading, although i do avail myself of thefree ones on here. A few days ago a member on here told me of a friend who was developing her gift and offered me a free reading. well this reader was humble, honest and brilliant. nailed things that paid readings did not come close too, ages of not only my child but someone who is a big part of my situation. she tuned into so much stuff and i have to say i was not expecting even half the stuff she hit, i think it wasso great because she was not doing it to make money but to help, i have predictions i will wait on and update. obviously i cant mention the reader but if the member doesthen fine, i was mightily impressed and she worked hands free. i think sometimes the best onescan be something quite unusual.

For all those on this forum that live in or have loved ones living in or around the south west of England, my heart goes out to you if you are being severely affected by these storms and flood waters Sad. I live in the south of England and we are getting battered and flooded to, but when I see the news and the devastation in some parts...its horrific. Lets hope this weird weather stops soon and the government focus on fixing the damage done to businesses and homes in the severely affected parts.

not sure how it works. I know that every so often some people are really annoying and eventually get banned from the forum but i saw that this lady lizcancer was banned and i wonder why.
I must be missing something. The few posts I have seen from her seemed good.
